He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, George Stanley and Sudie Kathryn Parcells (Ratliff); his former wife Lynne Parcells (Williams); his daughters, Barbara Parcells of San Diego, CA and Carolyn Parcells of Idaho; his grandson Andrew Phillips of Idaho; his wife Virginia Parcells (Benike); his stepchildren, Dr. Christopher Gunnell (Val), Mary Bailey, Therese Reva and David Gunnell; his stepgrandchildren, Kaitlyn Gunnell, Kaj Gunnell, Aubrey Meconi, Vincent Meconi, Darrin Reva, Celina Newton (Adam), Luke Gunnell and Joshua Gunnell; and his stepgreat-grandchildren, Royce Reva, Hendrix Newton and Haelynn Newton.
Honoring his wishes, cremation has taken place and memorial contributions may be made to People's Church of Kalamazoo.
