Vita Spano Obituary
We are sad to announce that on January 10, 2025, at the age of 76, Vita Spano of Livonia, Michigan passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Nicolo Coppola and Anna Coppola; her brother Giuseppe Coppola (Theresa); and her brother-in-law Matteo Lazzara. She is survived by: her husband Alberto; her sons, Carmelo Spano and Nick Spano (Kristen); her grandchildren, Lucas and Sofia Spano; and her sister-in-law Carmela Lazzara. She is also survived by many loving nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Tuesday, January 14th 2025 from 4:00 PM to 9:00 PM and on Wednesday, January 15th 2025 from 2:00 PM to 9:00 PM at the Vermeulen-Sajewski Funeral Home (46401 Ann Arbor Rd, Plymouth, MI 48170). A funeral service was held on Wednesday, January 15th 2025 at 7:00 PM. A funeral Mass was held on Thursday, January 16th 2025 at 9:30 AM and at 10:00 AM at the St. Colette Catholic Church (17600 Newburgh Rd, Livonia, MI 48152).
