Steven James Szerlag Obituary
It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Steven James Szerlag of Livonia, Michigan, who passed away on November 12, 2024, at the age of 53, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Donald Louis and Claudia Jean Szerlag (Sockow). He is survived by: his wife Kristyn Szerlag; his children, Jacob Szerlag (Zaylie), Justin Szerlag and Avari Zinner; his siblings, Deb Richards (John), Mark Szerlag (Diane), Paul Szerlag (Cindy) and Cathy Ciavattone (Frank); his brother-in-law Scott Kelley; his parents-in-law, Keith and Terri Kelley; his nieces and nephews, Grant, Blake, Eric (Jackie), Stacey, Tyler, Fletcher, Millie, Cam and Molly; and his cousin Morelli.
Visitation was held on Sunday, November 17th 2024 from 2:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Vermeulen-Sajewski Funeral Home (46401 Ann Arbor Rd, Plymouth, MI 48170). The lying in state was held on Monday, November 18th 2024 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the St. Kenneth Catholic Church (14951 N Haggerty Rd, Plymouth, MI 48170). A funeral Mass was held on Monday, November 18th 2024 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
