He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Homer Aldridge and Jean Aldridge; his wife Patricia Henkel-Aldridge; his children, John Aldridge, Christopher Aldridge and Katherine Saferian (Cary); his grandsons, Eric and Alex Staniszewski; and his great grandchildren, Emmalee and Oliver.

Visitation was held on Friday, January 10th 2025 from 12:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Rg & Gr Harris Funeral Home and Cremation Services (31551 Ford Rd, Garden City, MI 48135). A funeral service was held on Friday, January 10th 2025 from 2:00 PM to 3:00 PM at the same location. A graveside service was held on Saturday, January 11th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the Cadillac Memorial Gardens West (34224 Ford Rd, Westland, MI 48185).
