He was predeceased by: his parents, Walter Gorski and Mary Gorski; and his sister Angie Lusebrink (Frank). He is survived by: his spouse Shirley; his children, David Gorski (Joanne Howard), Susan Gorski (Michael Kuhl) and Jennifer Gorski (Jason Washburn); and his grandchildren, Emmett and Auden.

Visitation was held on Monday, December 16th 2024 from 3:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Est Turowski Life Story Funeral Homes (30200 Five Mile Rd, Livonia, MI 48154). The lying in state was held on Tuesday, December 17th 2024 from 9:30 AM to 10:00 AM at the St. Priscilla Catholic Church (19120 Purlingbrook St, Livonia, MI 48152). A funeral Mass was held on Tuesday, December 17th 2024 at 10:00 AM at the same location.
