Helen Mauder Obituary

It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Helen Mauder of Livonia, Michigan, who passed away on December 10, 2024, at the age of 96, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by: her parents, Carl Wolak and Helen Wolak; her husband Walter James Mauder Jr.; her daughter Nancy Gordon (Chuck); and her siblings, Rosemarie Havran (Ernie), Slvyia Zatkulak (Tony), Florence Savage (Chuck), Carl Wolak (Joanie) and Walter Wolak (Louise).

She is survived by: her children, Karen Zaffke (Matias), Linda Walker (Greg), Janet Chunn (late Bill), Walt Mauder (Cindy) and Mary Ellen Moore (Roger); her grandchildren, Wesley Gordon (Nili Gilbert), Elissa Davidson (Alan), Aubrey Zaffke, Karl Erich Zaffke (Isabelle), Kiersten Kaplan (Brett), Ashley Zaffke, Gregory Walker (Ann), Allyson Berger (Mike), Geoff Walker (Meghan), Andrea Chunn (Andrew Shanafelt), Brad Chunn (Taylor), Cody Chunn (Ashley Grace), Kaitlyn, Emily, Ryan Mauder, Brigitte and Curtis Moore; and her sister Theresa Case (Marion). She is also survived by great-grandchildren.

A funeral service was held on Friday, December 13th 2024 at 10:30 AM at the St. Genevieve-St. Maurice Catholic Church (29015 Jamison St, Livonia, MI 48154). A Mass was held on Friday, December 13th 2024 at 11:00 AM at the St. Maurice Catholic Church (29015 Jamison St, Livonia, MI 48154). A burial was held on Tuesday, December 17th 2024 at 1:00 PM and at 2:00 PM.
