Carol Jean Pifer Obituary
With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Carol Jean Pifer of Livonia, Michigan, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on April 23, 2025 at the age of 89. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Robert L Scott and Isabell R. E. Scott. She is survived by: her children, Christy Czarniecki (Dan), Nancy Zagata, Irene Fitzpatrick (Tom), Richard Pifer, Amy Kingery (Chris) and Michael Pifer; her grandchildren, Danny, Allie, Lindsay, Evan, Josh, Caley, Katie, Kara and Lanie; her sister Linda Hodges (Brad); and her nephews, Jeff and Steve.
Visitation was held on Sunday, April 27th 2025 from 2:00 PM to 5:00 PM at the L. J. Griffin Funeral Home (7707 Middlebelt Rd, Westland, MI 48185). A funeral service was held on Monday, April 28th 2025 at 1:00 PM at the L. J. Griffin Funeral Home-Westland (7707 Middlebelt Rd, Westland, MI 48185).
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Carol's name to the Michigan Humane Society (https://www.michiganhumane.org) Carol's warmth, kindness, spunk and unwavering devotion to her family will be deeply missed but never forgotten.
