Bernadene Strager Obituary
We are sad to announce that on January 16, 2025, Bernadene Strager (Livonia, Michigan) passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
As we bid Bernadene farewell, let us not mourn the absence of her physical form, but rather celebrate the essence of her spirit that lingers in the spaces between moments. For Bernadene is not truly gone, but merely transformed, her energy intertwined with the fabric of the universe itself, forever dancing among the stars.
She was loved and cherished by many people including: her husband Ed Spivack; her children, Patee Blackman (Gary), Amy Scapelliti and Jonathan Strager; her son-in-law Stephen Scapelliti; her grandchildren, Evan, Jonah Scapelliti, Benjamin and Emma Blackman; and her stepchildren, Myrna Pendry Spivack (John Pendry), Joanne Karnatz and Laurie Spivack. She was also cherished by grandchildren, great-grandchildren, loving nieces, nephews, and many wonderful friends.
A funeral service will be held on Friday, January 24th 2025 at 1:00 PM at the Ira Kaufman Chapel (18325 W Nine Mile Rd, Southfield, MI 48075). A burial will be held on Friday, January 24th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the Beth El Memorial Park Cemetery (28120 Six Mile Rd, Livonia, MI 48152).
