She was predeceased by: her parents, Jose Melendez and Carolina Longoria; and her siblings, Maria Mercedes, Jose, Maria Enedina "Noni", Maria Elena "Mary" and Manuel.

She is survived by: her husband Thomas Amodeo; her children, Saundra Dudek, Anthony Amodeo (Denise), Catherine Clipper, Carolina Amodeo and G. Thomas Amodeo; her grandchildren, Rachel, Samantha, Stephanie, Dale, Isabel, Alphonse and Emily (Mike); and her great grandchild Jackson.

Visitation will be held on Sunday, March 2nd 2025 from 2:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Michigan Memorial Funeral Home (30895 W Huron River Dr, Flat Rock, MI 48134). A funeral service will be held on Monday, March 3rd 2025 at 10:00 AM at the Michigan Memorial Park (32163 Huron River Dr, Flat Rock, MI 48134).
