He was predeceased by: his parents, Hans Sorensen and Victoria Sorensen (Zimba); and his son-in-law Thomas Kennedy, Sr.. He is survived by: his wife Carol Sorensen; his children, Cynthia Phillips (Mark), Kenneth (Pamela) and Kerry (Deborah); and his sisters-in-law, Violet Sorensen, Leona Janisewski and Darla Sorensen. He is also survived by 8 grandchildren and 17 great grandchildren.
