She was loved and cherished by many people including: her parents, Marilyn Marquand Wortman and Col. William "Bill" Wortman; her spouse Val Suardini; her children, Britton Nurmi, Calice Borg (Gary) and Anthony Suardini (Dona); her grandchildren, Mattie Kalbfleisch (Andrew), Eliana Borg, Lilia Suardini and Adeline Suardini; and her brother Christopher Wortman.
