She was predeceased by: her parents, Frederick Bartel and Elisabeth Bartel (Bartsch); her husband Edward Leo Chapman; and her brother Fred Bartel (Marian Bartel). She is survived by: her children, Diane McCombs (Bill) of Ocala, David Chapman (Christine) of Litchfield and Susan Chapman of Litchfield; her grandchildren, Mason McCombs of Ocala, Mandee McCombs of Orlando, Gregory Chapman (Katie) of Quincy and Dustin Chapman (Kristen) of Litchfield; and her great grandchildren, Cameron, Katelyn, Weston, Madelyn and Raegan Chapman. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held on Monday, November 25th 2024 from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM and from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Litchfield Chapel (220 N Chicago St, Litchfield, MI 49252). A funeral service will be held on Tuesday, November 26th 2024 at 11:00 AM at the St. Paul Lutheran Church (100 Luther Blvd, Albion, MI 49224). A burial will be held on Tuesday, November 26th 2024 at 2:30 PM at the Mount Hope Cemetery (9619 Homer Rd, Litchfield, MI 49252).
