He was predeceased by: his parents, Ralph Griffiths and Elouise Griffiths (Folk); his sons, Stephen and John Griffiths; his brother-in-law Ora O'Dell; and his sister Linda Masarik (Griffiths).

He is survived by: his wife Nancy (O'Dell); his children, Kandace Rubin (Leonard) of Jerome and David Griffiths (Val) of Litchfield; his brother Larry Griffiths of Litchfield; his siblings-in-law, Wayne O'Dell (Becky) of Jackson, Louis Masarik and Jean O'Dell; his grandchildren, Kaylee Kline, Adriana Rubin, Braden Rubin and Garrett Griffiths; his great grandchildren, Wyatt Brooks, Griffin Kline, Kirk Rubin, Ava Rubin, Dakota Shilling, Hubert Shilling and Oliver Griffiths; and his stepgrandchildren, Alex, Becca and Emily.
