He was predeceased by: his parents, Nell and Garland; his siblings, Denise Smith (Opie) and Bruce Chapman; his mother-in-law Loretta Lopez (Juan); and his siblings-in-law, Sam Lopez, Dora Villareal and Norma Wharff.
He is survived by: his wife Aurora; his sister Diana Bunch (Phil); his siblings-in-law, Valente Villarreal, Birdie Callaghan (Terry) and Wanda Lopez; his daughters, Sara Chapman and Valery Griffiths (David); his grandchildren, Rebecca Hiser (Zach), Emily Roberts and Alex Roberts; and his great grandchild Rosalee Hiser. He is also survived by many cousins, nieces and nephews.
Memorial contributions are suggested to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital or St. Anthony Catholic Church.
