She was predeceased by: her parents, Vernon Ziegler and Mae Ziegler (Oestrike); and her siblings, Mary Lee, Patricia, Kurt and Gary Ziegler.
She is survived by: her husband George Hawkes; her children, Scott Hawkes (Janet) of Litchfield and Deena Wonders (Doug) of Litchfield; and her brother Glen Ziegler of Hillsdale. She is also survived by five grandchildren, four great-grandchildren, four step-grandchildren and four step-great-grandchildren.
