It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Theodore Raymond Carpenter of Linwood, Michigan, born in Portsmouth, New Hampshire, who passed away on December 27, 2020, at the age of 86, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Raymond L. Carpenter and Rhoda A. Carpenter (Vane); his parents-in-law, Floyd and Katherine Guoan (Carroll); and his brothers-in-law, Thomas Guoan and Dale Helm.
He is survived by: his wife Ann Guoan; his children, Amanda Russell (Dustin) and Matthew Guoan; and his parents-in-law, Sharon R. Guoan, Robert Guoan (Sharon K.), Mary Dubiel (Richard), Paul Guoan, Linda Helm, Susan Tice (Don) and Tim Guoan (Leann). He is also survived by several nieces, nephews, great-nieces, great-nephews, and his "adopted son" and beloved.
Memorial contributions may be directed to the Bay Area Community Foundation, where a scholarship fund will be established to benefit students of Western High School.
