He was predeceased by: his parents, Orville Grappin and Mary Grappin; his wife Bernadine "Bonnie" Grappin; his siblings, Donald and Geraldine; his father-in-law LeRoy; his sisters-in-law, Edwina "Tootie" Grappin and Linda Fryzel; his godparents, Sophie Banazak and Frank Wazny; and his goddaughter Cindy Grappin (Rick Fisher).
He is survived by: his friend Terry Kowalczyk; his close friend Julianne Bailey; his pet YoYo; his children, Theresa Spurr (John), Joseph Grappin (Mary), Dennis Grappin (Bill Gerstmeyer) and Sharon LaRouche (Anthony); his godchildren, Marty Lewis (Andrea) and Ann Grappin; his sisters, Maryann Fulco (Joe) and Joan Neal (Jim); his siblings-in-law, Michael Lewis (Kathy), Dale Lewis (Sue), Roy Lewis (Jan), Bill Zychski and Sandy Warren (Francis); his close friends, Troy Nalazek, Clarence and Wayne Filcek; and also Don. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
