It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Nels Larsen (Linwood, Michigan), born in Alpena, Michigan, who passed away on October 8, 2020, at the age of 71, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Elwood Larsen and Shirley Reynolds Larsen; his former wife Sheila Koopman; his brother Dale Larsen (Sheila); and his stepson Drew.
He is survived by: his wife Linda; his children, Kristina Pung (Roger), Jordan, Jace Pung, Joshua, Cody, Nicholas Burkholder, McKenzie and Alexandrea Eiseler; his stepsons, Tim and Cameron Hall; his children, Sheila and Blake Larsen; his stepchildren, Kaitlyn Holmberg and Brian Wissner (late Jennifer); his children, Thomas Wissner (Haley), Dereck Shedlowski, Daniel Wissner, Autumn and Oliva Wissner; and his sisters, Roberta Caszatt of Alma, Lori Gilmore (Jim) of Mt. Pleasant and Nancy Leatz of Mt. Pleasant. He is also survived by nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, Nels' request was for anyone wishing to make a memorial donation to please consider; The Drew Foundation, Walleye's for Warriors or Mid-Michigan Hospice.
