She was predeceased by: her parents, Martin Winiarski and Anna Winiarski (Jakiemiec); her husband Alvin Powers; and her brothers-in-law, William Carstens and William Robertoy.
She is survived by: her children, Ken Powers (Patricia) and Janice Kotz (Daniel); her grandchildren, Phillip Powers (Stacey), Steve Powers (Annie), Joseph Powers (Daisy), Timothy Powers, Kimberly Kotz, Melissa Kotz (Kirk Tenwalde), Mindy Regius and Sarah Stafford (Neil); and her sisters, Bernice Carstens, Helen Robertoy, Anne Reeves and Martha Ruppel (Fred). She is also survived by several nieces, nephews and cousins.
In lieu of flowers those wishing an expression of sympathy are asked to consider the Americans Hospice Care of Saginaw.
