She was predeceased by: her husband David Schlatter; her son Ronald; her son-in-law Donald Schneider; her parents, Ulrich Kipfer and Esther Kipfer; her stepmother Freida Kipfer; and her siblings, Alice Yates, Henry, Ralph and Joe.
She is survived by: her children, Sally Zahner (Curtis) of Ellington, CT, Thomas Schlatter (Sandra) of Bay City, Sandra Schneider (late Donald) of Bloomington, IL, Cheryl, Schmidt of Kawkawlin, Kenneth Schlatter (Pam) of Linwood, Bethany Knochel (Dana) of Livonia and Alan Schlatter (Vicki) of Bay City; and her daughter-in-law Sharon Schlatter of Ft. Wayne, IN. She is also survived by twenty-four grandchildren and thirty-four great grandchildren.
