He was predeceased by: his parents, Lester Dennings and Rose Dennings (Manle); and his siblings-in-law, Judy Birch of Boyne City, Michigan and Gary Beyersdorf (Bunny) of Traverse City. He is survived by: his wife Jean; his children, Jeremy Dennings of Freeland, Teresa Padget (Stacy) of Freeland and Heather O'Brien (Levi) of Linwood; and his grandchildren, Jonathon, Solomon, Elijah and Abigail. He is also survived by nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, the family asks that memorials be directed to the wishes of the family or a charity of the donor's choice.
