It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Joan E. Katzer of Linwood, Michigan, born in Bay City, Michigan, who passed away on June 17, 2023, at the age of 82, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Melvin Underwood and Harriett Underwood (Sowders); her husband Arthur J. Katzer (Buck); her sons, Rickey and Randy; her grandchildren, Terri Rocha (Katzer) and Michael Katzer; and her sister-in-law Aloma L. Underwood.
She is survived by: her siblings, Larry Underwood and Mary Lou Bryce; her grandchildren, Jammie Martin (Cory), Rachel Cross (Scott) and Jay Katzer (Kimberly); her great grandchildren, Ryann Parkhurst, Vanessa Parkhurst, Skylar Rocha, Kaylee Rocha, Abigail Arquette (Jesse), Emily Mackenzie, Madison Cross and Rikki Cross; her great great grandchild Soren Arquette; and her son Mike Young. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers the family asks for donations to be made to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital.
