He was predeceased by: his parents, Herman Meylan and Marian Meylan; his brother-in-law Pete Aresenault; his siblings, Ronald Meylan, Valerie Schmidt (William) and Betty Aresenault; and his siblings-in-law, Larry Debats, Arthur, Cora Rotarius and Jim Richardson.
He is survived by: his grandchildren, Marc Rivera (Nicole), Blake Meylan (Samantha), Christian Hafner (Josh), Hannah Estes (Aron) and Amaya Ware; his sister Linda DeBats; his friend Lila Krauss; and his sisters-in-law, Ruthann Richardson, Donna Meylan, Sis (Gary Schaefer) and Linda (Bob Morrison). He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
