It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Mark Douglas Smith of Linden, Michigan, born in Flint, Michigan, who passed away on May 15, 2024, at the age of 65, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Douglas Smith and Helen Smith (Byrd). He is survived by: his wife Dawn McGinnis; his children, Jesse McGinnis, Laura Jo Bartrum (William), Michelle McGinnis and Jordan Smith; his grandchildren, Jade Weisenberger (Kyle), Marque Wenzlicm (Bruce), Emery, Arwen, Francesca, Boomer, Brody, Ava, Hunter and Logan; and his sisters, Lisa and Suzanne. He is also survived by several nieces, nephews and cousins.

Those desiring may make contributions to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital.
