He was predeceased by: his parents, Harry Leslie and Elizabeth Helen Hoover (Smith); his wife Vickie Jane Ward; his sister Judy Ann Soto; his in-laws, Jay and Bonnie Ward; and his brother-in-law Steve Ward.
He is survived by: his children, Christopher Hoover (Stephanie) of Grand Blanc, Karri Kominek (Ken) of Lennon and Kimberly Hoover (Joe Genore) of Flint; his grandchildren, Lauryn, Caleb, Amber, Brett and Alexis; and his brother-in-law Lonnie Ward (Patti) of Linden. He is also survived by nieces and nephews.
