He was predeceased by: his son Travis; and his brother Dennis Bogart. He is survived by: his wife Carol Bogart; his children, Christopher Bogart (Dania) and Rebecca Barskiy (Ilya); his grandchildren, Veronica "Nika" Barskiy and Alexei "Alex" Barskiy; and his siblings, Linda Friant (Robert), John Bogart (Robin), Brian Bogart (Colleen) and Lou Ann Bogart. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, and friends.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Disabled American Veterans in George's name.
