It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Felipe S. Castanon of Linden, Michigan, born in Marianna, Arkansas, who passed away on March 12, 2023, at the age of 67, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Cosme Castanon and Guadalupe Valencia (Sauceda); his wife Melanie; his children, Felipe, Danielle and Christina; his grandchildren, Jylena, Jasmyn, Juliette, Bentley, Kamden, Mateo, Levi and Carter; and his siblings, Juanita Spooner, Refugia Whitten, Aurelia Villarreal, Amelia Bays Hodge, Guadalupe Dillet, Esteban Santos Castanon (Paula) and Domingo S. Castanon (Tracy).
