Carol Joy White Obituary
It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Carol Joy White of Linden, Michigan, who passed away on March 14, 2025, at the age of 87, leaving to mourn family and friends. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Carol Joy White to pay them a last tribute.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Jack Lawrence and Cecilia Lawrence (Bartosik); her husband Harold E. White, Sr.; her stepfather Robert F. Hewitt; her brother Thomas Lawrence; and her stepsister Jeanette Bradbury.
She is survived by: her children, Gina Wibert (Dennis), Harold E. White, Jr. (Mary), Colleen Bradley (Dennis Sharp) and Curtis E. White, Sr.; her grandchildren, Michael A. Martin (Jen), Thomas E. Martin Chief Warrant, Harold E. White III (Lisa), Philip H. White (Audrey), James W. O'Bryant, Jr., David W. O'Bryant (Becky) and Curtis E. White, Jr.; her stepgrandson Kevin Wibert; and her siblings-in-law, Jim White (Janelle) and Glenda Tower. She is also survived by 21 great-grandchildren; 2 great great-grandchildren.
Visitation was held on Monday, March 17th 2025 from 3:00 PM to 7:00 PM and on Tuesday, March 18th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM. A rosary was held on Monday, March 17th 2025 at 7:00 PM at the Sharp Funeral Homes - Fenton Chapel (1000 W Silver Lake Rd, Fenton, MI 48430). A funeral service was held on Tuesday, March 18th 2025 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the St John the Evangelist Catholic Church (600 N Adelaide St, Fenton, MI 48430). A burial was held on Wednesday, March 19th 2025 at 10:30 AM at the Great Lakes National Cemetery (4200 Belford Rd, Holly, MI 48442).
In lieu of flowers the family would prefer door wreaths to be sent to the funeral home or contributions to National Kidney Foundation (http://www.kidney.org).
