He was predeceased by: his parents, Howard Ritchie and Grace Ritchie (Anderson); and his sister Sue Hale. He is survived by: his wife Sandy Messina; his children, Kelli Ritchie of Alpena and Scott Ritchie (Kim) of Lincoln; his grandsons, Aaron Ritchie (Kirsten) and Brandon Ritchie (Amina); his great grandchildren, Ellery and Grayson Ritchie; and his sister Janice LaFave. He is also survived by several nieces, nephews, and cousins.
