He was predeceased by: his parents, Melvin W. Lighton and Leona Lighton (Raetz). He is survived by: his wife Marilyn Wyka; his children, Denise Diaz (Alfredo), Julie Ann Lighton and Gerard Dennis Lighton; and his grandchildren, Monica and Benjamin Smith.
