He is survived by: his children, Dakota Hinson, Erika Cerda (Dave) and Angela Keiler; his grandchildren, David, Xavier, Ava Cerda and Miguel Villarreal; his siblings, Sue Ann McCarthy (Bill), Betty McLevey and Doug Johnson; and his nieces and nephews, Bill, Tim, Shawn, Patrick McCarthy, Anita, John, Mickey Sammons, Patrick Hernandez, Brandi, Gerald Jr., Nikki, Susan Wade and Amanda Verbeke.
