She was predeceased by: her husband Orval Maddox; her sister Kathleen McMillan; and her niece Brenda Patterson. She is survived by: her daughters, Kathy Paplin (late Dennis) and Vickie Abernethy; her granddaughter Stephanie Riling; her great grandchildren, Drake, Anakin and Calla; her sister Imogene Warden; her niece Mitzi Carreon; and her nephew Greg McMillan.
