She is survived by: her husband Will E Gholston Jr.; her children, Kristen "Simone" Thomas, Deedra Thomas and Will E Gholston III (LaChelle Gholston); her grandchildren, Kay Frances Thomas, Steven Wright, Stephen Wright, Nathan Gholston (Christina), Alexa Gholston and Mia Gholston; her great grandchildren, Aaliyah and Quadir Gaskins; her sisters, Patricia "Punchie" Turner and Lorie Spencer (Darion); her nieces, Brandy and Katherine; her great-nieces, Asia, Bella and Aaliyah Turner; her nephew Allen Turner; her great-nephew Kenyin Warren; and her friends, Michelle Bryant, Terry Joan and Patricia Lee.
