He is survived by : his wife Deborah; his children, Holly Anne Scott (Damon), Jon Patrick Ruff (Sharon), Nicole Rochelle Pilkins (Rocky) and Donald Jay Ruff; and his grandchildren, Tyler (Allie), Paige (Dakota), Elana, William, Zoey, Troy, Olivia and Oliver. He is also survived by his many nieces and nephews.

A reception was held on Wednesday, July 10th 2024 from 2:00 PM to 6:00 PM at the Molnar Funeral Home - Southgate Chapel (14032 Northline Rd, Southgate, MI 48195).
