He was loved and cherished by many people including: his wife Julie Weekly; his daughters, Hannah McMurtrie (Matt) and Sarah Weekly; his granddaughter Ada Rose McMurtrie; his siblings-in-law, Jerry Torok, Kim Schlosser (Mark) and David Torok (April); his nephews, Jonathan Schlosser and Lincoln Torok; and his niece Stephanie Schlosser.

Visitation was held on Sunday, January 12th 2025 from 1:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Allen Park Chapel - Martenson Family (10915 Allen Rd, Allen Park, MI 48101). A memorial service was held on Sunday, January 12th 2025 at 5:00 PM at the same location.
