He was predeceased by: his parents, Charles Kortze and Bernice Kortze (Cartmill). He is survived by: his wife Cheryl Kortze; his children, Stephanie Lee (Jose Reyna) and David Lee (Hannah McCarthy); his siblings, Sherry Garcia, Robert Kortze and Frank Kortze; and his grandchildren, Brooklynn Reyna and Isaac Reyna.
