Petersen; his children, Stacy Hosterman-Hamann (Michael) and Jerry Hosterman; his grandchildren, Jeralin Hamann, Brendan Hamann, Drew Hosterman and Gwendalin Hosterman; and his siblings, Randy O'Connor (Cathy), James O'Connor (Kim), Donald O'Connor, Debbie Swecker (Randy) and Sarah Kading (Fred). He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
