He was predeceased by: his parents, James W. Halsey and Antoinette Halsey (Reichard); his wife Helen "Becky" Chomakos; his daughter-in-law Jessica Halsey; and his brother Peter Halsey.
He is survived by: his children, Guy Halsey (Stephanie Hirsch) of St. Johns, Stephanie Campbell (Mike) of Port Huron and Andrea Halsey of Port Huron. He is also survived by eight grandchildren.
