It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Mary Virginia Kane of Lexington, Michigan, born in Detroit, Michigan, who passed away on August 15, 2023, at the age of 99, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by: her husband Robert Leo Kane; and her daughter Cynthia Kane. She is survived by: her children, Anne Kane, Julia Taslimi (Kane) and John Kane; and her grandchildren, Jack Heller, Tara Good, Gabriel Kane, Julia Yasser, Angela Kane, Katherine Lewin, Vincent Kane, Simon Kane and Troy Pope. She is also survived by nine great-grandchildren.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made to The Leukemia & Lymphoma Society.
