The memory of James D Young of Lexington, Michigan, who passed away on April 8, 2025 at the age of 74, will forever remain in the hearts of those touched by this precious presence in their lives. He was predeceased by: his parents, Russell Young and Lucille Young; and his brother Paul. He is survived by: his significant other Diane; his sons, Ryan (Gwenda) and Troy Young (Chamira); his granddaughters, Karis and Adalyn Young; his brother Bob Young (Lori); and his sisters-in-law, Denise Palmateer and Dawn Wagner (Gregg). He is also survived by three nieces and three nephews; and many lifelong friends.
Visitation was held on Tuesday, April 15th 2025 from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM, from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM and on Wednesday, April 16th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM. A funeral service was held on Wednesday, April 16th 2025 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the Hillside Wesleyan Church (5114 N River Rd, Freeland, MI 48623).
Memorial contributions in Jim's memory may be made to The Station Wesleyan Church, MediLodge of Port Huron (memory care unit), or McLaren Hospice.
