We are sad to announce that on January 14, 2022, at the age of 72, Edward A. Rakas of Lexington, Michigan, born in Pontiac, Michigan passed away. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Edward Miron Rakas and Margaret Louise Rakas. He is survived by: his sisters, Lorri Smith and Michelle Pryce-Laskos; his nieces, Lynnette and Tricia Pryce; his great-nephew Robert; and his cousins, Barbara Heisley, Corkey Foster, Marc, Denise and Jeff Rakas.
Eddy faced significant health challenges, diagnosed with lymphoma leading to a weakened immune system and subsequently pneumonia and coronavirus at which he decided to be with the Lord and Savior Jesus Christ.
