He was predeceased by: his parents, Clarence Young (Brig) and Margaret Young; his wife Letha Goodno; and his siblings, Charles (Bud), George Gunning, Margaret Gunning, Harriet Mills and Rose Pascoe.
He is survived by: his sons, Albert Young Jr. (Catherine) of Ferndale, George Young of Croswell and Robert Young (Joy) of Croswell; and his granddaughters, Marcia Young of Croswell and Victoria Zeller (Eric) of Croswell. He is also survived by 13 grandchildren, 17 great grandchildren and many nieces and nephews.
