He was predeceased by: his parent Duane Geister; his wife Pearl; his son Larry Geister; his stepmother Edna Geister; his brother Carl; his siblings-in-law, Mary Geister and Ted Grout; and his sister Wanda (Jack Johnson).
He is survived by: his parent Ines Geister (Whale); his children, Gary Geister (Linda) and Pam Handrich (Rick); his daughter-in-law Alice Geister; and his sisters, Gwen Grout and Carol Hazen (Wayne). He is also survived by six grandchildren; 11 great grandchildren.
