She was predeceased by: her parents, Francis Hellebuyck and Margaret Hellebuyck (Gill); her husband Arnold Hofer; her son Daniel; and her siblings, William, Frank and Carole Alessandra.
She is survived by: her children, Gary Hofer (Mimi) of Traverse City, Catherine Hofer (Scott) of Lewiston, Diane Schluentz (Bob) of Allenton and Donna Quandt (James) of Johannesburg; and her siblings, Ralph Hellebuyck of Lapeer, James Hellebuyck of Boyne City, Kenny Hellebuyck of Roscommon, Ronald Hellebuyck (Sanda) of Grayling, Gordon Hellebuyck (Heidi) of Grayling, Donna Schroeder of Boyne City and Margaret Schimmel (Ronald) of Washington Township. She is also survived by 12 grandchildren; 14 great-grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be given to the family in which they will select the appropriate donor of their choice.
