With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Peter Jon Pynnonen of Lewiston, Michigan, born in Alpena, Michigan, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on July 23, 2024 at the age of 73. Though his name may fade from the lips of time, the imprint Peter Jon leaves upon the hearts of his loved ones remains eternally vivid — a testament to the depth of his spirit and the richness of his legacy.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Eino Pynnonen and Mary Ellen Pynnonen of Lewiston; and his niece Marisa Moyer. He is survived by: his cousin David Pynnonen (Bob Stevenson) of Lewiston; his sister Pamela Pynonen-Moyer (David) of Petoskey; his niece Ashley Moyer; his nephew Tate Moyer (Amber); and also, Rick Ditchie, Amy and Bob DeVos. He is also survived by two great-nieces and numerous cousins.
