He was predeceased by: his parents, Thomas M. Smith and Marion E. Hart; his wife Joyce; his brother Bill Hart; and his grandson Jack Foucart.
He is survived by: his daughters, Brenda Foucart (Wayne) of Cadillac, Patty Bolser (Ben) of Atlanta, Kathy Reno (Archie) of Hesel and Jackie Burrell of Petoskey; his grandson Bill Burrell (Beth) of Gaylord; his daughter Jess Foucart of Cadillac; his brothers, Tom Hart (Barb) of Thousand Oaks, California and Gary Hart (Shannon) of Tawas City; and his close friend Ralph Godmar (Carol).
