He was predeceased by: his parents, Grady Jr. Alsobrooks and Dorothy Alsobrooks (Reinke); and his former wife Mary Alsobrooks (Marciniak). He is survived by: his wife Roberta; his stepsons, Brian Currie (Sara) and Michael Currie (Robyn); his grandchildren, Alex, Jackson, Finn, Wyatt and Hudson; and his siblings, Lynn Meissner (John) of Hartland, Ron Alsobrooks (Phyllis) of Meridian, ID, Chris Alsobrooks (Carol) of Livonia and Mark Alsobrooks (Tammy) of Gaylord. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.

Those who wish are asked to consider memorial contributions in his memory to Elk Country Animal Shelter in Atlanta.
