She was predeceased by: her parents, Albert Staelens and Ida Mae Staelens (Marsack); and her sister Judy Staelens. She is survived by: her husband William C. Shelton of Lewiston; and her children, William J. Shelton (Michelle) of Sterling Heights, Patty Loose (Ted) of Shelby Township, Sandy Coulter (John) of Sterling Heights and Karen Kaminsky (Doug) of Clarkston. She is also survived by seven grandchildren; one great-grandchild.
In lieu of flowers, donations are suggested to the Otsego County Commission on Aging, Hospice of Michigan, or the Michigan Parkinson's Foundation in memory of Diane.
