He was predeceased by: his parents, Violet Neff and Andrew Smith; his adoptive father Richard Neff; and his siblings, Rick, Rod Neff and Candice Neff.
He is survived by: his grandchildren, Chas Neff (Amanda), Caleb Neff (Laken) and Catrina Neff (John Kennedy); and his former wife Alice High (McDowell).
