He was predeceased by: his parents, Wise Carpenter and Nellie Carpenter; his wife Jeanette (Flint); and his siblings, Zephyr Carpenter, Nora Ray, Dorsey Carpenter, Irene Perkins, Hoy Carpenter, Maxine Tyshko, Mace Jean Carpenter and Edith Carpenter.
He is survived by: his pet Shih Tzu. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews and great-nieces and great-nephews.
